How Public is the Law: Part 2


As I understand it, the Minnesota Judicial Branch now scans all court orders (or creates them from pdf or some facsimile thereof).   And those orders are available ‘online’ for the entire MJB.

But as private attorneys, all we can get from our desktop is a MnCIS Register of Actions (it’s like a case history or docket, with the goal of showing what was filed, when and by whom).  We can sometimes see that a order has been filed, but we cannot see the order.  Why not?
